The Vietnam Moving Wall, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., is coming to New Boston this week. The 250-foot wall bears the names of more than 58,000 Americans who died in the Vietnam War.
It arrives Thursday and will be set up at Trailhead Park downtown for five days of public viewing. The New Boston Chamber of Commerce, which has worked for a year to bring the wall to town, says it’s the first time it’s ever been displayed in New Boston.
The wall opens to the public at noon Thursday, followed by an opening ceremony at 6 p.m. Viewing hours run through 4 p.m. Monday.
