Texarkana, Texas police arrested 38-year-old Larodderick Clay Saturday night after he allegedly robbed the Fuel N Go on North Robison Road.
Police say Clay asked for cigarettes, then pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded cash. He ran off with money, alcohol, cigarettes—and even snacks like gummy bears and Flamin’ Hot Fries.
A witness called 911, and minutes later officers spotted Clay near Planet Fitness. He tried to run but was quickly caught after running straight into Sgt. Marc Neal and a tall fence.
Officers recovered the stolen items and a gun, which had been reported stolen from Atlanta, Texas. Clay is now in the Bi-State Jail, charged with Robbery, Theft of a Firearm, and Evading Arrest. His bond is set at $110,000.
