Kelley Crisp has officially announced her candidacy for Bowie County Criminal District Attorney. She currently serves as the county’s First Assistant Criminal District Attorney—the first woman to hold that role.
Crisp joined the DA’s office in 2010 and became First Assistant in 2019. She’s tried more than 135 jury cases, many involving violent crimes like capital murder, human trafficking, and child sexual abuse.
Her work earned her recognition in the Taylor Parker case and support from multiple law enforcement groups.
Crisp is also president of the ArkLaTex 100 Club and works with schools and advocacy groups to raise awareness on child safety and abuse prevention.
She holds three degrees from the University of Arkansas and lives in Texarkana with her husband and son.
