A chance meeting between Ashley Cooper and a 76-year-old DoorDash driver has led to an incredible show of support. Dale Culbreath, a handicapped Vietnam veteran, was delivering food to Ashley when she learned he was working to pay for his own funeral.
Ashley shared Dale’s story online, and the community quickly stepped up—raising over $17,000 through GoFundMe. The two have since formed a close friendship, and Ashley is working with a lawyer and banker to place the funds in a trust for Dale.
