The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is now accepting applications for the 2025 public land alligator hunt. Licensed Arkansas residents, 16 and older, can apply online for a chance to harvest one of the state’s elusive reptiles. A $5 nonrefundable fee is required.
Applicants must hold a valid Resident Sportsman Hunting License or Lifetime Sportsman’s Permit. Those with 18 or more violation points are not eligible.
Permits will be awarded by random draw for specific zones, including Millwood Lake, Sulphur River WMA, and the Delta Complex. Some areas, like Millwood, have tag limits and daily quotas. Pine Bluff Arsenal applicants must pass a background check.
