While serving a felony warrant yesterday on a Bonham man, TTPD officers found what appeared to be a pipe bomb. It wasn’t but the KOA Campground on St. Michael Drive was evacuated, SWAT was called and 59 year old Ronnie Maples was arrested and booked into the Bi-State jail for possession of a hoax bomb and failing to register as a sex offender.
