A Texarkana man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after allegedly causing a crash and leaving the scene on U.S. Highway 67.
Authorities say 22-year-old Justin Blake Jackson admitted to being under the influence of GHB, commonly known as a party drug, when his pickup struck another vehicle pulling a trailer near Memorial Drive on April 14. Investigators say Jackson and a passenger ran from the scene but were later located in Wake Village.
Officers reportedly found a bottle of GHB on Jackson, while a breath test showed no alcohol use. The driver of the other vehicle suffered injuries. Jackson also faces a probation revocation tied to a previous firearm theft case.
