A Texarkana man is facing a felony charge after a March crash that seriously injured a pedestrian on New Boston Road.
Police say 49-year-old Johnny Walker Junior was charged in connection with the March 7th collision that left a 38-year-old woman with life-threatening injuries, including a severe head injury and the possible loss of a leg.
Investigators say surveillance video and traffic cameras helped identify a Chevrolet Traverse linked to Walker. Officers later found damage on the SUV along with receipts for replacement parts.
Walker denied hitting a pedestrian and claimed the damage came from another crash.
He is charged with collision causing serious bodily injury and could face two to ten years in prison if convicted.
