On October 14th, the 8th South Drug Task Force joined Texarkana Police in executing a search warrant at a home on Webster Place following a shooting. Investigators seized multiple firearms, 7 pounds of marijuana, more than 7 pounds of cocaine and crack, meth, heroin, and over $4,000 in cash.
A second search on October 16th uncovered $350,000 worth of items believed to be purchased with drug money, including hundreds of shoes, electronics, and four vehicles containing drugs or paraphernalia.
Arrest warrants have been filed, and law enforcement says they remain committed to keeping drugs out of local neighborhoods.
