The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department says a juvenile suspect has been arrested in connection with the High Point shooting that happened April 27th.

Detectives made the arrest on May 5th and charged the suspect with First Degree Battery, Tampering with Evidence, and Theft by Receiving a Firearm. Because the suspect is a juvenile, no name or identifying information has been released. Police say no other suspects are involved. The victim has been released from the hospital and is now recovering at home.
Investigators are still working to determine what led to the shooting.
