Texarkana, Texas, police say a man is facing a deadly conduct charge after allegedly firing multiple shots at a woman as she left his home earlier this month.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 38-year-old Ricardo Mata Lopez became angry when the woman said she was moving out of his King Avenue home just after midnight on Nov. 3. She told officers he fired several rounds at her vehicle as she drove away.
Police say she was not injured, and officers recovered three spent 9 mm casings outside the residence. Lopez is being held in the Bowie County jail on $100,000 bail. If convicted, he faces two to ten years in prison.
