Texarkana Arkansas police cited a nightclub owner and two bartenders following an investigation into reports of underage drinking at Club Level on East 9th Street.
Police responded June 13 after receiving complaints that alcohol was being sold to minors. Investigators discovered the club did not have the permits required to possess or sell alcohol in Arkansas.
Authorities said an undercover officer was able to purchase alcohol without showing identification. Officers then checked IDs inside the club and found several people who refused to provide identification. DHS was called in to assist with identifying those individuals.
Police emphasized the operation was not related to ICE and was conducted solely in response to complaints about illegal alcohol sales and permit violations.
